Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Baking Support:

Assist in Baking: Help with the preparation, mixing, and baking of a variety of baked goods including cakes, cookies, bread, pastries, and other items.

Assist in Decorating: Support the decoration of baked goods (e.g., frosting cakes, garnishing pastries, or assembling dessert displays).

Follow Recipes: Follow baking recipes and instructions to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to the bakery’s standards.
2. Kitchen Operations:

Ingredient Preparation: Assist with the measurement, mixing, and preparation of ingredients for baked goods.

Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness in the baking area and kitchen by following sanitation and safety protocols. This includes cleaning baking tools, trays, mixers, and ovens.

Stock Management: Help with inventory management of baking supplies, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation of ingredients.

Maintain Equipment: Ensure all baking equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
3. Quality Control:

Monitor Quality: Help ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for texture, taste, appearance, and freshness.

Assist in Product Development: Assist the head baker or chef in experimenting with new baking recipes or concepts to add variety to the menu.
4. Customer Service (if applicable):

Customer Interaction: If working in a bakery or café setting, assist customers in selecting products, ensuring a friendly and positive customer experience.

Packaging and Display: Help with the proper packaging of baked goods and arranging them for display to ensure they are visually appealing and ready for sale.
5. Team Collaboration:

Assist Colleagues: Work alongside other kitchen staff to ensure the efficient flow of kitchen activities and timely production of baked goods.
