Job Title: Landscape Designer and Execution Specialist

Job description :This Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, designing, and executing landscaping projects. Collaborate with, architects, and contractors to create outdoor spaces that meet aesthetic, functional, and environmental requirements.

Experience : 10 years

Key Responsibilities:

Architect Consultation:

· Meet with internal architect to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for landscaping projects.

· Gather information about the site's topography, soil conditions, climate, and any existing features.

Conceptualization and Design:

· Develop creative and functional landscape designs that incorporate elements such as plants, trees, hardscapes (e.g., pathways, patios), water features, and outdoor lighting.

· Use computer-aided designs utilising software and other tools to create detailed plans and renderings.

· Ensure that designs align with local regulations, zoning codes, and environmental guidelines.

Plant Selection and Layout:

· Choose appropriate plants, trees, and shrubs based on site conditions and client preferences.

· Plan the layout and arrangement of vegetation to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.

Materials Selection:

· Specify materials for hardscapes, including pavers, stones, and other construction materials.

· Consider factors such as durability, cost, and aesthetic appeal.

Cost Estimation:

· Prepare cost estimates and budgets for landscaping projects.

· Work with clients to finalize project scope and budget constraints.

Project Execution:

· Execution and implementation of landscaping projects, coordinating with contractors or internal and subcontractors.

· Ensure that designs are executed according to specifications and within the allotted budget and timeframe.

· Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials.

Environmental Considerations:

· Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into landscaping projects, such as water conservation and native plant selection.

· Advise clients on irrigation systems and maintenance practices to promote sustainability.

Project Documentation:

· Maintain detailed records of project plans, contracts, permits, and any changes to the original design.

· Create as-built drawings and documentation for completed projects.

Team Communication:

· Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of their projects.

· Address client concerns and changes to the design as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture or a related field (preferred).
Professional certification or licensure as a Landscape Architect
Strong proficiency in landscape design software Tools.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to landscaping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills.
Creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
