Laptop support Engineer has to visit customer places in ITPL & Whitefield for Service support. All over Bangalore has to travel. Two wheeler is a must.

Job Overview
A Laptop Support Engineer is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues related to laptops. They provide technical assistance to users, ensure system security, and maintain optimal laptop performance for organizations or individual clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in laptops.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for employees or clients.
- Replace or repair faulty components such as hard drives, RAM, batteries, and keyboards.
- Troubleshoot OS issues (Windows, macOS, Linux) and reinstall operating systems when necessary.
2. Software Installation & Maintenance
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications.
- Update and patch software and security applications to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Ensure proper antivirus and cybersecurity measures are in place.
3. Networking & Connectivity
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN connectivity issues.
- Assist in network configuration and setup for laptops.
- Support cloud-based services and remote desktop access.
4. User Support & Training
- Guide users on best practices for laptop maintenance and data security.
- Provide basic training on software tools, backups, and security protocols.
- Assist in setting up email accounts, printers, and peripheral devices.
5. Asset Management & Documentation
- Maintain an inventory of laptops, spare parts, and accessories.
- Document all support tickets, solutions, and maintenance history.
- Assist in procurement and upgrade recommendations for new laptops.
