Licensed Pharmacist Jobs Opening in Foram Healthcare at Surat
Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee and manage daily pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of dispensing medications, reading and interpreting prescriptions accurately, managing inventory, conducting monthly audits, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations. Additionally, the pharmacist should have strong customer service skills and be proficient in upselling and cross-selling healthcare products.
Key Responsibilities:Dispensing & Prescription Handling:
- Read and interpret prescriptions accurately.
- Dispense medications while ensuring proper dosage and instructions are communicated to clients.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
Pharmacy Management & Compliance:
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with local drug laws and regulations.
- Use the pharmacist license for Drug License (DL) registration and oversee pharmacy operations.
- Conduct monthly store audits to ensure stock accuracy and regulatory adherence.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain stock levels and place timely orders to prevent shortages.
- Track expiry dates and ensure proper disposal of expired medications.
- Optimize inventory through efficient stock rotation and management.
Customer Service & Sales:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries and offering health advice.
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling of OTC (Over-the-Counter) products and health supplements.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable healthcare products based on their needs.
- Valid Pharmacist License (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and healthcare regulations
- Experience in retail pharmacy operations is preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy management software
- Location: Surat
- Work hours: 9hrs to 12hrs
Salary: Competitive and based on experience. Additional incentives for meeting sales targets.
