Job Description

Managing staff: Leading staff, assigning work, managing performance, and recommending personnel actions
Ensuring safety: Enforcing safety policies, identifying unsafe conditions, and reporting incidents
Maintaining equipment: Participating in the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of equipment
Training employees: Training, mentoring, and motivating staff
Monitoring projects: Supervising projects, monitoring technicians and projects, and reviewing technician work
Optimizing processes: Ensuring the processes are being followed and optimized for performance
Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting equipment and processing problems
Communicating: Communicating effectively with other departments and between shifts
Inventory control: Ensuring the adequate levels of parts, equipment, and supplies
Producing reports: Producing the periodic reports
