Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

Follow a preventive maintenance schedule and checklists to reduce the risk of equipment failure and downtime.

Lubricate, clean, and replace worn parts to ensure the longevity of equipment.

Repairs and Troubleshooting:

Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems.

Diagnose issues in systems, machinery, or tools and implement necessary repairs to restore functionality.

Collaborate with the team to quickly resolve technical issues, minimizing production downtime.

Equipment Installation:

Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery as per the specifications and safety protocols.

Test new systems and machinery to ensure they are properly functioning after installation.

Calibrate and adjust equipment for optimal performance.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities are carried out according to company safety standards and regulations.

Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment, ensuring all machinery meets the required safety standards.

Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and equipment.

Inventory and Stock Management:

Maintain and update inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.

Requisition parts and supplies as needed to carry out repairs and maintenance work.

Ensure that necessary tools and parts are available to avoid delays in maintenance tasks.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.

Report any serious technical issues or potential hazards to supervisors.

Ensure that all service logs, maintenance reports, and inventory logs are updated regularly.
