About the internship
Role Description:
This is a full-time internship program at Peoplecom Technologies. They will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day tasks such as going through news reports, connecting with journalists, scouting for a feature and speaking opportunities for spokespersons, initiating interviews, assisting in social media accounts, assisting in shoots, marketing communication initiatives, drafting press releases, creating and editing content, and assisting in event planning.
Qualifications:
A degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Creativity skills and ability to think outside the box
Experience in developing and executing strategic communications plans
Proficient in Writing for various media channels
Ability to work collaboratively
Strong organizational and time management
Desired Skills and Experience:
Prior experience must be based on editorial skills including video capturing, storyboarding, and editing.
Excellent with Content Creation in social media, understanding the basics of brand marketing, and Social Media content
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills as well as the ability to source stories from subject matter experts
Approachable and likes interacting with people from different backgrounds
Good story-telling ability, and proficiency in tailoring and customizing copy for a varied audience.
Strong research and curation skills and a keen interest in design, copy, and creation of communication
