Requirement: Opening in Medical Coding.
Responsible for supporting medical professional corporation procedural and diagnostic coding of medical records for billing. Should know a wide range of codes, including Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS), and International Classification of Diseases Tenth Revision Clinical Modification (ICD-10 CM).
Transcribing patient information into appropriate medical codes
Examining medical documents and records for missing information
Conducting chart audits
Collecting, researching, and filing patient medical information
Ensuring all documents are grammatically correct
Complying with medical coding guidelines and policies
Skills:
