Job Description

A Metro Ticket Issuer is responsible for assisting customers with booking tickets for various transportation modes (flights, trains, buses), providing information on schedules and fares, handling customer inquiries and complaints, accurately issuing tickets and accepting payments, ensuring all bookings are correctly recorded in the ticketing system, and maintaining excellent customer service while adhering to company policies; essentially acting as a primary point of contact for ticket sales and customer support related to travel arrangements.

Issuing tickets, tokens, smart cards, and QR code tickets

Topping up smart cards

Issuing common tickets for buses and metros

Collecting cash

Troubleshooting customer queries

Some other responsibilities of a metro ticket issuer may include: Helping passengers plan their trips, Answering questions about travel arrangements, Making and confirming reservations, and Calculating expenses
