JOB DESCRIPTION: MOODLE DEVELOPER (1-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE)
Job Title: Moodle Developer
Experience: 1-3 Years
Salary: ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per month
Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Environment:
- Location: on-site.
- Work hours: 9.30Am to 6.00Pm
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Moodle Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Moodle-based e-learning platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that align with our educational goals. If you have experience in PHP programming and Moodle development, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Moodle plugins and themes based on project requirements.
- Maintain and support the Moodle platform, ensuring seamless functionality and integration with other systems.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to enhance user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Moodle.
- Ensure the Moodle system’s security, performance, and scalability.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code.
- Stay updated with the latest Moodle features and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in Moodle development or similar e-learning platforms.
- Proficiency in PHP and strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with Moodle architecture, APIs, and customization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Moodle installation, configuration, and updates.
- Understanding of SCORM, LTI, and other e-learning standards.
- Knowledge of Moodle mobile app customization is a bonus.
