Job Description
A Moulding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire moulding process in a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards by managing a team of moulding operators, monitoring machine performance, troubleshooting issues, maintaining production schedules, and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime; they also play a key role in maintaining quality control and training new personnel within the moulding department.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the plastic moulding department
Manage and supervise production staff
Ensure production targets are met and maintain high-quality standards
Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Implement and enforce safety protocols
Monitor inventory levels and order raw materials as needed
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training for team members
Investigate and resolve any production issues or equipment malfunctions
Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies
