Job Description
District Manager recruitment in National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Shimla
Qualification : a) Graduate with (CCC course of NIELIT (erstwhile DOEACC) OR Diploma / Certificate course in Computers / IT) OR b) Graduate with CS/IT as a subject OR c) BCA / BE / B.Tech
Desirable : 1. Prior project management experience. 2. Experience in the domain of IT projects, IT infrastructure deployment / software development, hardware, networking, security management in IT projects. 3.Good people management and communication skills. 4. Result oriented and self motivated for working in rural areas and across reporting structure. 5.Experience in eGovernance related projects of organisations/ departments/ NGO/ NonProfit Organization. 6.Willingness to travel across the district at the Gram Panchayats. 7.Should be able to communicate in local language and have proficiency in verbal and written communication in English. 8. Should preferably be a resident of H.P.
Post qualification Work Experience : Minimum of 2 yrs of work experience in IT / e-Governance / IT related project co-ordination and program management in related fields.

Remuneration : Rs 20,000/-
Application Fee : The candidates are required to remit non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500/- per application (Rs 250/- for SC/ST/PWD/Women per application) through bank demand draft drawn in favour of Director, NIELIT, Shimla payable at Shimla only.
Selection Process : The selection of the candidates for the post of District Manager will based on the merit only prepared on the basis of the given formula.
