Job Description
District Manager recruitment in NIELIT Chandigarh on contractual basis
Qualification : a) Graduate with (CCC course of NIELIT (erstwhile DOEACC) OR Diploma / Certificate course in Computers / IT ) OR b) Graduate with CS /IT as a subject OR c) BCA / BE / B.Tech.
Desirable : 1. Prior project management experience . 2. Experience in the domain of IT projects, IT infrastructure deployment / software development, hardware, networking, security management in IT projects . 3. Good people management and commununication skills. 4. Result oriented and self-motivated for working in rural areas and across reporting structure. 5. Experience in e -Governance related projects of organisations/ departments/ NGO/ Non -Profit Organization. 6. Willingness to travel across the district at the Gram Panchayats. 7. Should be able to communicate in local language and have proficiency in verbal and written communication in English
Experience : Minimum of 2 yrs of work experience in IT / e -Governance / IT related project co -ordination and program management in related fields.

Place of Posting : 2 each at Amritsar, Barnala, Bathinda, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ferozpur, Fazilka, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Mansa, Moga, Mohali, Mukatsar, Nawanshahr Pathankot, Patiala, Rupnagar, Sangrur and Tarn Taran.
Age : 24 to 35 years
Application Fee : The candidates are required to remit non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500/- per application (Rs 250/- for SC/ST/PWD/Women per application) through online payment mode via application software only. The bank transaction charges including taxes for online payment of fee will have to be borne by the applicant. Fee through other modes like Bank Draft/Cheque/Pay Order or Challan is not acceptable.
