Trainee Engineer Jobs recruitment in National Institute of Technology Meghalaya (NIT Meghalaya)
No. of Posts : 10 (ten), i.e. 2 (Two) in each of the five Departments given below
Qualification : First Class Degree in Engineering in any of the following disciplines :-
Electrical Engineering (EE)
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
Civil Engineering (CE)
Mechanical Engineering (ME)
Degree should have been awarded not before 2015. Candidates awaiting final results may also apply. However, such candidates, if selected, must have a valid degree at the time of joining.
Stipend : INR 15,000/- per month fixed. Candidates will have to arrange for their own accommodation and food during the training period.
Selection Procedure : Written Test/ Personal Interview

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is one among the thirty NITs in India established as an Institute of National Importance with full funding support from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The Institute started its journey as one of the youngest NITs of India in the year 2010 and the first batch of B. Tech students of NIT Meghalaya in the three disciplines of ECE, CSE and EEE will be graduating in June, 2014. At present the Institute has nine departments covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering B. Tech and Ph. D programmes. The M. Tech programme is being started from 2014. Other post graduate programmes like M. Sc and MBA shall also be started soon. At present the Institute is functioning from a temporary campus in Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya.
