Scientific Assistant-B (Mechanical)
No. of Post : SC-01 (HH)
Qualification : Diploma in Engineering. [3 years after S.S.C] OR HSC + 2 years Diploma course in Engineering (Approved by AICTE). Diploma should be in Mechanical Discipline with 60% or above marks. Shall have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC/SSLC or HSC level examinations.
Scientific Assistant-B (Electronics)
No. of Post : SC -01 (HH)
Qualification : Diploma in Engineering. [3 years after S.S.C] OR HSC + 2 years Diploma course in Engineering (Approved by AICTE). Diploma should be in Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Instrumentation & Control or Instrumentation Discipline with 60% or above marks. Shall have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC/SSLC or HSC level examinations.

Qualification : A Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Commerce or Arts with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. 40 words per minute typing speed on PC. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess knowledge of Hindi typing also. Should have passed a Certificate Course of a duration of not less than 6 months on MSWindows Operating System and Desktop applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), e-mail management and internet surfing. For Finance & Accounts, Commerce Graduates and for Contracts and Materials Management Science Graduates (with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) and Commerce Graduates will be preferred.
Pay
Scientific Assistant-B : Selected candidates will be given offer with a pay of Rs. 35,400 /- in level 6 of the pay matrix of CCS(RP) Rules 2016 along with other allowances as applicable.
Assistant Grade-1 : Selected candidates will be given offer with a pay of Rs. 25,500/- in level 4 of the pay matrix of CCS(RP) Rules 2016 along with other allowances as applicable.
Age Limit
Scientific Assistant –B : 18 to 30 years as on 17.12.2016
Assistant Grade-1 : 21 to 28 years as on 17.12.2016
Physical Standards
Scientific Assistant-B : Minimum Height: 160 cms & Minimum Weight : 45.5 kgs.
Mode of Selection
Scientific Assistant-B : Written Examination & Personal Interview.
Assistant Grade-1 : Written Examination, Type writing test on PC, Computer Proficiency Test. The Selection will be based on the Written Examination only. Other tests will only be qualifying in nature not to be counted for final merit list.
