Qualification : candidate must have passed 3 years regular Diploma in lst Division in respective branches for Laboratory Asst (Branch) / 3 years regular Diploma with 1st class in Mechanical branch for Laboratory Asst (Workshop) from AICTE approved Diploma Institutes / B.Sc. /+3 Sc. in Physics Hons (PCM) for Laboratory Assistant (Physics)/B.Sc./+3 Sc. in Chemistry Hons (PCM) for Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry) from a recognized University securing 1st Division.
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-2400
Age : 18 – 32 Years
Fee : Candidates Can Pay The Fee of Rs. 100/- For General Candidates and No Fee For SC/ST. The Fee Can Pay through CRFS.
Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Examination

Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) was set up by Govt. of Odisha as a statutory body in the year 1994 for carrying out direct recruitment against Group-C posts in the State cadre (as against District cadre) as may be scheduled in the OSSC Rules, 1993. There are some 85 different cadres of posts/ services under various departments of Government to which recruitment is made through this Commission.
