Job Description

The Office Assistant cum Peon is responsible for providing general office support, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, running errands, and assisting staff as needed. Additionally, this role involves preparing and serving meals for office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Maintenance: Keeping the office clean and tidy, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors; emptying trash cans and recycling bins; maintaining office supplies and equipment.
Courier Services: Delivering and picking up documents, packages, and mail; running errands as assigned.
General Support: Assisting staff with photocopying, faxing, and other clerical tasks; greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate personnel; ensuring office security.

Cook and Server Duties:

Preparing and cooking meals for office staff as per the menu or as directed.
Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
Serving meals to office staff in a timely and professional manner.
Washing utensils and cleaning the kitchen area after meals.

Qualifications

Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Physical ability to lift and carry items.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in office support and food preparation is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety.
