Job Description
Job Summary
An Office Boy is responsible for handling day-to-day office support tasks, ensuring cleanliness, assisting staff with basic administrative duties, and maintaining the overall office environment. The ideal candidate should be punctual, hardworking, and able to multitask efficiently.
Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of all office areas including meeting rooms.
Assisting in setting up rooms and preparing them for meeting, including arranging chairs and tables.
Assisting in the coordination of office events and functions, including setting up decorations and arranging catering services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Office Maintenance & Cleanliness:
- Ensure the office premises, workstations, pantry, and meeting rooms are clean and organized.
- Dispose of trash, dust furniture, and maintain hygiene in common areas.
- Ensure restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
2. Refreshments & Pantry Management:
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff and guests.
- Maintain and clean kitchen utensils, pantry appliances, and stock supplies.
3. Office Assistance & Support:
- Handle photocopying, scanning, and filing documents as required.
- Deliver documents, packages, or files within the office and to external locations.
- Assist in setting up meeting rooms with necessary materials.
4. Visitor & Staff Assistance:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Assist in minor errands such as collecting couriers, banking tasks, and office purchases.
- Support staff in shifting light office furniture or equipment when required.
5. Other Duties:
- Monitor and report office supply shortages (stationery, cleaning materials, etc.).
- Follow office safety and security protocols.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the management.
