We are expanding our team and seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to manage product listings and inventory in our retail shop.
Job Description:
As an Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and organizing the products in DrBuilder's shop. You will be responsible for adding new products to the system, ensuring accurate inventory management, updating product details, and maintaining the overall quality and organization of the shop. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately add new products to the DrBuilder inventory system and website, including uploading descriptions, prices, and specifications.
- Regularly update and maintain existing product information (pricing, stock availability, product features).
- Manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring products are properly stocked and reordered as needed.
- Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to identify new product opportunities and ensure smooth product flow.
- Maintain product display areas and ensure the shop is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies in inventory or product listings.
- Assist with the organization of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Provide operational support to the store management team as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, operations, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in operations, inventory management, or retail product management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing product information.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction or home improvement industry.
- Familiarity with product management software and e-commerce platforms.
