Job Title: Operations Supervisor-BWG (Bulk Waste Generator)

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Supervisor. This role is ideal for experienced professionals and recent graduates passionate about environmental sustainability. You will lead our waste management processes, supervise operations at Bulk Waste Generators (BWGs), and maintain strong client relationships. Candidates must have access to a personal laptop and a two wheeler (motorcycle/scooter) for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate waste collection teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards and performance targets. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Labour Management: Supervise and Coordinate with the operations team to schedule waste collection and disposal activities efficiently.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with timely service updates.
Operations Oversight: Oversee the operations at various BWGs, ensuring compliance with waste management regulations and guidelines.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze operational data, generating insightful reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement. Proficiency in data visualization is a plus.
Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality while reducing costs. Contribute to best practices development.
Training & Development: Provide comprehensive training on waste management processes and safety protocols, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technology adoption.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local regulations and company safety protocols, promoting a safe work environment.
Problem-Solving: Proactively address operational issues and conflicts within the team or with clients.
Monitoring & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance waste management processes.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, Management, Logistics, or a related field (fresh graduates welcome). Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
Experience: Prior experience in waste management, operations, or team supervision is beneficial but not required. Demonstrated leadership potential is essential.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Comfort with technology, including mobile applications and data management systems.
Familiarity with local waste management practices and regulations will be an advantage.
