Job Title: Paralegal for a Patent Law Firm
Job Location: Gurugram (Sector 50), India
We are currently seeking a self-driven and a skilled candidate to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon.
Work Type: Onsite, Permanent, Full-Time, 6-days working (Saturdays are WFH)
The duties and responsibilities include the following:
· Assembling the paperwork required for patent application and preparing formal documents such as Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, Form 5, Form 26, Form 18 and uploading in the IPO Site.
· Updating client database and responding quickly to all the clients’ needs and replying to related mails.
· Assembling the paperwork required for Patent application. Preparing formal documents pertaining to prosecution, opposition and renewals and uploading and filing them at Indian Patent Office
· Generating docket reports, and reporting IP docketing to senior IP professionals while acting on their advice.
· Preparing invoices and keeping track of the time that can be billed to clients.
· Assisting with client meeting scheduling and keeping track of important court dates and approaching deadlines.
· Maintaining a positive working relationship with the client and Staff by updating presentations, reports, and templates.
Qualifications/ Skills Required:
· 1-2 years of experience managing Patent docketing and prosecution (Freshers are also OK).
· Proper attention to detail and practical experience managing a large Patent prosecution docket.
· Knowledge of creating docket reports and managing Intellectual property records.
· Sufficient knowledge of Patent application and review.
· Proper research and time management abilities to keep track of due dates.
· The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
· Prompt communication and record-keeping skills.
