PartTime IT Admin/Developer
Job Description
We’re seeking a curious, hands‑on Part‑Time IT Admin/Developer
to drive all in‑house IT efforts—from website tweaks to managing our
physical email server—and to grow into a trusted go‑to for solving complex
technical challenges. This role reports to the Sales Manager and is perfect for
someone who learns quickly, thrives on variety, and wants to make a measurable
impact in a nimble marketing agency.
Key Responsibilities
· Website Alterations & Maintenance:
• Implement front‑end content updates, plugin/module installations, and minor
design tweaks (e.g. WordPress, Drupal, or custom frameworks).
• Troubleshoot layout or functionality issues and ensure cross‑browser/mobile
compatibility.

Physical Email Server Administration:
• Install, configure, and maintain the on‑premises mail server (SMTP,
IMAP/POP3), ensuring 24/7 uptime.
• Manage mail queues, spam filters, TLS certificates, and DNS records (MX, SPF,
DKIM).
· IT Support & Troubleshooting:
• Serve as first responder for all hardware, software, and network
incidents—whether desktops, laptops, switches, or firewalls.
• Log, prioritize, and resolve tickets; escalate only when essential.

Infrastructure Optimization:
• Propose and implement small‑scale improvements (e.g., virtualization
snapshots, backup scripts, monitoring alerts).
• Monitor resource utilization on servers and suggest capacity upgrades as
needed.
· Continuous Learning & Documentation:
• Stay up to date on emerging
tools, libraries, and best practices; apply learnings to streamline workflows.
• Maintain clear documentation: network diagrams, system runbooks, and change‑logs.
Required Qualifications
· Freshers are welcome! A few months of experience in IT support or system administration (can include internships or personal projects).
· Familiarity with web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and at least one CMS (e.g., WordPress).
· Experience installing and managing Linux‑ or Windows‑based mail servers.
· A good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting.
· Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
