Job Description

Pharmacist required for medical shop.

*Knowledge of basic medicines and dealing with customers is required.

*Must be able to dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.

*Manage pharmacy inventory, order supplies, and prevent medicine shortages

Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified and licensed Pharmacist for a medical shop to dispense medications, provide guidance on drug usage, and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of medicines, prescription handling, and customer service to assist patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dispensing Medications & Prescription Handling

Review and dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications.
Ensure accurate dosage, proper labeling, and drug interactions.
Provide counseling on medication use, side effects, and storage.

2. Inventory Management & Stock Control

Maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and healthcare products.
Monitor expiry dates and remove outdated medications.
Coordinate with suppliers for order placements and stock replenishment.

3. Customer Assistance & Consultation

Guide customers on proper medication usage and health management.
Recommend alternative medicines in case of unavailability (as per regulations).
Address customer queries and provide basic healthcare advice.

4. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws and licensing requirements.
Maintain sales records, prescriptions, and billing documentation.
Handle narcotic and controlled drugs as per legal guidelines.

5. Store Operations & Sales Support

Assist in billing and payment processing.
Promote healthcare products and wellness items in the store.
Keep the store organized and maintain a clean working environment.
