Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing healthcare advice, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and customers to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Dispensing & Medication Management:

Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications to patients.
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.

✅ Patient Care & Consultation:

Provide counseling and advice on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
Educate patients on dosage, timing, and lifestyle adjustments for better health outcomes.
Offer guidance on OTC (over-the-counter) medications and health supplements.

✅ Inventory & Stock Management:

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock availability.
Monitor expiry dates and discard expired medications as per regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers and distributors to restock medications.

✅ Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure adherence to local and national pharmaceutical laws.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient history, and controlled substances.
Follow safety protocols and hygiene standards in handling medications.

✅ Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals:

Work closely with doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers for patient care.
Assist in monitoring patients’ responses to prescribed treatments.
Suggest alternative medications or generic options when necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D).
✔ Valid pharmacist license/registration as per local regulations.
✔ Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and medical conditions.
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
✔ Attention to detail and ability to handle prescriptions accurately.
✔ Familiarity with pharmacy management software and inventory systems.
