Job Description
Dispense medications and counsel patients on drug usage
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines
Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory and stock levels
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient care
Key Responsibilities:
1. Medication Dispensing & Patient Safety

Dispense medications as per doctor’s prescriptions.

Ensure proper dosage, drug interactions, and side effect explanations.

Maintain accurate records of all dispensed medications.
2. Inventory & Stock Management
-
Monitor stock levels of medicines and reorder as required.
-
Ensure proper storage and labeling of drugs.
-
Maintain expiry date checks and discard expired medications.
3. Compliance & Documentation
-
Follow hospital and regulatory guidelines for drug safety.
-
Keep records of controlled substances as per legal requirements.
-
Assist in audit preparation and compliance documentation.
4. Patient & Staff Interaction
-
Guide patients on medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects.
-
Work closely with doctors and nurses to ensure proper drug administration.

Provide emergency medication support in critical cases.
