Job Description
- The fashion Business channel is looking for a freelance photographer who can work on a flexible schedule as per the work flow (project basis).
Core Responsibilities:
- Sitting with the Content team to understand the image requirements for respective articles, brainstorming on theme ideas for the various shots.
- Photographing the required shots after the themes have been finalized.
- Editing the images on Photoshop or other editing software.
- Researching/ Sourcing images which don’t need to be shot, on image websites such as Shutterstock/ iStock etc and assisting with the credits of these images.
The ideal Candidate:
- Should have completed a basic course (minimum) in Photography.
- Should have knowledge on the credibility of images, which are taken from search engines.
- Should have a creative edge and be able to think of innovative themes for image shots.
- Should have an interest towards fashion

The Fashion Business Channel (FBC) is an upcoming online News & Media Publication, which will focus on the business aspect of the fashion industry in India. A one of its kind platform created to bridge the gap between fashion and business for the fashion enthusiasts as well as industry professionals, by providing various products to best promote themselves, share opinions from renowned fashion professionals shaping the fashion industry, and other fashion requirements which will be launched eventually.
FBC is currently at a pre launch phase. The products that will be launched soon on initially are:
· Fashion Directory: This product will contain an A-Z listing of people molding the fashion industry. These individuals will be professionals such as designers/ brands/ institutes/ companies/ events/ manufacturers/ raw material/ suppliers and more, within the fashion industry.
· Fashion Business Blog: An informative product under FBC, which will provide trending fashion business news. Articles, interviews, opinions and more. This will focus mainly on the business aspect of the fashion industry such as brand building strategies, analysis, forecasting, consulting and more.
