PHP Developer
Job Description
We are looking to hire a talented PHP developer to manage our back-end services and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and our users. As a PHP developer, you will be responsible for developing and coding all server-side logic. You will also be required to maintain the central database and respond to requests from front-end developers.
To ensure success as a PHP developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, understanding of MVC designs, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. Ultimately, a top-level PHP Developer can design and build efficient PHP modules while seamlessly integrating front-end technologies.
Key Responsibilities:

Web Application Development:

Develop and maintain dynamic and interactive web applications using PHP and related technologies.

Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, following industry best practices and coding standards.

Integrate data from various back-end services and databases into user-facing elements.

Database Management:

Design and implement database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases) to store and retrieve application data.

Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity and security.

Assist in database migrations, indexing, and backups.

Backend Logic and API Integration:

Develop server-side logic and integrate with third-party APIs or external services.

Ensure seamless integration of front-end components with back-end systems.

Handle application security and data protection by applying necessary encryption and validation techniques.

Collaborate with Front-End Developers:

Work alongside front-end developers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Ensure smooth interaction between the front-end and back-end components of the application.

Contribute to the development of the overall user experience by providing backend solutions.

Bug Fixing and Performance Optimization:

Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in existing web applications.

Continuously improve application speed, reliability, and user experience.

Provide regular maintenance and updates to applications as required.

Code Review and Documentation:

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.

Document the development process, codebase, and deployment procedures.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Testing and Debugging:

Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure that the code functions correctly and efficiently.

Collaborate with QA teams to ensure applications meet functional and non-functional requirements.
