Project Officer (Construction) job vacancies in IIT Jammu on contract basis
The educational qualifications and experience required for the post is as under Essential :(1) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 60% marks.
At least 07 year relevant experience as Engineer in execution and construction of CivilWork; and Construction Management OR (2) Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 60% marks. At least 10 years relevant experience as Engineer in execution and construction of Civil Work and Construction Management
Desirable :(1) Experience in the scale of Assistant Engineer in CPWD/MES/State PWD/Semi Government/ PSU/Statutory Autonomous Organisation/CFTIs/Reputed organisation under State/Central Government or equivalent State/Central Government or equivalent. (2) Knowledge of Computer–Aided Design (CAD) or other relevant Engineering/Construction software; (3) Experience in large scale composite civil construction work; (4) Experience of coordinating with multi-disciplinary planning consultants, architects and construction agencies in projects above Rs. 25 Crores; and (5) Computer literacy and experience of working with computerised office .
Emoluments : Selected candidates will be paid total emoluments in the range of Rs.60,000/- to Rs.80000/- per month.
