IIT Goa, an Institute of national Importance has been established in the year 2016
Government of India in the state of Goa. The Institute is temporarily housed in the campus
of Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi, Ponda, Goa. The development planning of IIT
Goa permanent campus in Goa is under process.
The Institute is looking for a ‘Public Relation Officer’ who can manage and oversee PR
activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media and the public.
Qualification: Candidates must have Master Degree from a recognized University . Candidates having degree in mass communication and journalism shall be preferred .
Minimum 6 years of experience in the field of Public Relation preferably in educational Institutes , Good acquaintance with Goa state government offices/ educational institutions and knowledge in Konkani and Marathi language shall be preferred .
Age Limit: Not more than 58 years from the closing date of advertisement

Job responsibilities in brief: planning publicity strategies and campaigns. writing and producing presentations and press
releases. dealing with enquiries from the public, the press,
and related organizations including govt.
organizations/ministries, organizing and attending promotional events such
as press conferences, open days, exhibitions,
tours and visits. to liaise with local, state & national/international
level functionaries for smooth running of the
Institute .
Salary (Consolidated) Pay level- EA-4; Rs. 48000-4800-67200 with annual increment of Rs. 4800 (Group-B equivalent post) In addition, out of campus allowance of Rs. 7000/per month shall be paid in lieu of House Rent Allowance. Higher emoluments can be offered to exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates.
