Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team in Sanand, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies necessary for our production processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other required materials.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Procurement and Inventory Management:
- Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier information.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management to minimize waste and ensure production continuity.
- Coordinate with production and quality control teams to ensure materials meet specifications.
- Cost Analysis and Optimization:
- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Conduct regular price comparisons and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain purchasing reports and analyses.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all purchasing activities.
- ensure all materials purchased are in compliance with quality control standards.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of materials.
- Qualification
