Purchase Manager:
Desired Candidate Profile
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
- Management of optimum inventory of material at the site. Negotiation skills for big volume purchases.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Strong ability to command suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of ordered quantity with 100% compliance on quality.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Utilize strong networking skills.
- Research market to gather information related to raw materials available as well as substitutes and their costs.
- Experience: 4-5 Years
- Industry Preference : FMCG
