Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintenance: Supervising technicians and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and new installations
Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and safe work practices
Incident investigations: Participating in incident investigations
Training: Developing and delivering training sessions
Relief duties: Performing relief duties for managers
Production: Ensuring safe, efficient production of rolling stock, locomotives, and other assets
Inventory control: Controlling inventory and managing materials
Disaster management: Restoring traffic after accidents through disaster management

Skills:

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines in the railway industry

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Ability to identify maintenance and repair needs for railway infrastructure

Experience in conducting inspections and audits

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in project management tools and software
