Guest Check-in and Check-out: Greeting guests, processing check-ins and check-outs, and providing them with room keys or access cards.
Information and Assistance: Answering guest inquiries, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and making reservations for services.
Phone Operations: Handling incoming and outgoing calls, taking messages, and managing the switchboard.
Front Desk Operations: Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, managing guest complaints, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Accountant Duties:
Financial Transactions: Recording and categorizing financial transactions, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, verifying invoices, processing payments, and managing collection efforts.
Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborating with management to create budgets, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations for financial improvements.
Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, calculating and preparing tax returns, and staying updated on changing tax laws.
Audit Support: Assisting in internal and external audits, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring financial statements are accurate and fair.
Month-End and Year-End Closing: Producing accurate month-end accounts, comparing them to forecasts and previous periods, and assisting in year-end closing processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
