Project Title : “Studies on Antimicrobial and Anti-Biofilm Activities of Medicinal Plant Extracts Obtained From North Eastern India Against Pathogenic Bacteria Isolated From Pigs, Cattle And Poultry of NER India : and Cattle, Poultry and Ducks of West Bengal”

Qualification : PhD in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience relevant to the project and should possess the knowledge of HPLC, GCMS-MS and plant compound purification.

Fellowship : Rs. 36,000/-

Age : Candidates should not be more than 32 years

Junior Research Fellow

Qualification : M.Sc in Microbiology/Biosciences/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Life Science preferably with NET/GATE/BET. Candidates should have minimum 55% marks throughout the career. Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Microbiology.

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) only per month + HRA as admissible for the first two years and Rs. 28,000/- (Rupees Twenty Eight Thousand) only per month + HRA as admissible for the third year with NET/GATE/BET/BINC or degree in professional courses.

Age : Candidates should not be more than 28 years

Duration : Initially one year and extendable upto 03 (Three) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier based upon the performance of the candidate
