Research Associate/ Senior Research Fellow job recruitment in  National Institute of Plant Health Management.

Qualifications :

Essential:

1. M.Sc. (Computer Application) with B.Sc. in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering with 2 years’ experience in programming for Database Management & its administration.

OR

2. A First Class B.E. / B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology with 2 years experience in programming for Database Management & its administration.

OR

3. First Class Masters Degree (M.Sc. / M.S. / M. Tech.) in Computer Science / Information Technology with 2 years work experience in programming for Database Management & its administration.

OR

4. Master in Computer Application (MCA) with 2 years work experience in programming for Database Management & its administration

Desirable: Knowledge in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technologies – ESRI Software and Open Source Software, Networking and Linux servicer Administration, Multimedia.

Maximum Age limit :  40 for Men & 45 for Women

Salary:

a. Rs. 40,000/- per month + applicable HRA, for candidates possessing Master Degree Holders and Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in the above subjects. (i.e. they shall fulfil the conditions given in the ICAR OM F.No. End./6/27/2014/HRD, dated 13-7-2015 in continuation to the OM of even No. dated 01-7-2015 or as amended from time-to-time.

b. Rs. 38,000/- per month + applicable HRA, for candidates possessing Master Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements. (i.e. they shall fulfil the conditions given in the ICAR OM F.No. End./6/27/2014/HRD, dated 13-7-2015 in continuation to the OM of even No. dated 01-7-2015 or as amended from time-to-time.

c. Rs. 23,000/- per month + applicable HRA for others (i.e. for candidates possessing qualifications other than the above 1a & 1b).

Senior Research Fellow (Nematology) Plant Health Management Division / 1

Essential: Master’s degree in Agriculture / Zoology / Botany with specialization in Nematology with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor degree. Candidates having Post Graduate degree in relevant subject with 3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Experience: 2 years research experience.

Maximum Age limit : 35 for Men & 40 for Women

Salary:

a. Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA as applicable for candidates possessing Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree (OR) for candidates having post graduate degree with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification. (i.e. they shall fulfil the conditions given in the ICAR OM F.No. End./6/27/2014/HRD, dated 13-7-2015 in continuation to the OM of even No. dated 01-7-2015 or as amended from time-to-time.

b. Rs. 16,000/- per month + HRA as applicable for other candidates who do not fulfil the qualifications given under (2a) above.

Senior Research Fellow (Vertebrate Pest Management), Vertebrate & Urban Pest Management Division / 1

Essential: Masters’ Degree in Zoology / Entomology / Agricultural Entomology / Horticulture with Entomology

With any one of the following:

1. 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree with minimum working experience of one year preferably in Rodent / Vertebrate Pest Management

(OR)

2. 3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master’s degree with NET qualification, with minimum working experience of one year preferably in Rodent / Vertebrate Pest Management

(OR)

3. Master’s degree with PGDPHM with Vertebrate Pest Management specialization.

(OR)

4. 3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master’s degree with minimum working experience of one year in Vertebrate Pest Management

Maximum Age limit : 35 for Men & 40 for Women

Salary :
