Job Title: Research Project Internship (with Scholarship)
About the Internship: A research project internship with scholarship is available at Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita University, Bengaluru campus, in design and development of affordable sloar cells to reach close to the theoretical conversion efficiency by using photonic crystals, in suitable meterials. The project is to involve some fabrication work at IISc. Nanoscience Centre, Bangalore.The successful candidate will play a major role in theoretical and practical research leading to a major project grant application and may continue for Ph. D. (Stipend according to UGC norms and proposal grant).
Eligibility: M.Tech/M.S./ME completed/about to complete within March 2017 in ECE/EIE/Physics or a BE/BTech graduate (with outstanding records and demonstrated research portfolio) in ECE/EIE/related subject with a strong understanding of electromagnetics, computational skills (essential) and some exposure to photonic band gap structures (desirable) with references bringing out research prowess and motivation with specifics of work.
