Job Description

Take customers food orders
Relay orders to kitchen
Communicate well between the kitchen and customers
Make sure the orders are completed in time and food is served hot.
Job requires active involvement to ensure customer satisfaction.
Supervise food and beverage services
Monitor the cleaning schedule
Monitor hygiene, inside the restaurant, and back area
Supervise the preparation of the area for food and beverage service
Inspect all F & B equipment for proper functioning
Check dining room to ensure that dining furniture, table coverings, and table items are clean, undamaged, and ready for use
Check that condiments and the appropriate accompaniments are filled, clean, and ready for guests’ use
Ensure sufficient supply of service items like paper napkins, tooth pick, etc.
Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass and silver wares prior to use
Make sure that the F&B service area’s ambience meets the guest's needs and expectations
Ensure the service area is clean and ready for the continuing service throughout the shift
Ensure maintenance of the food and beverage service log on a daily basis
Ensure mis-en-place and mis-en-scene
Ensure minimum breakage, spoilage & wastage
