Key Responsibilities
1. Staff Supervision and Management

Supervise, train, and coordinate restaurant staff including servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff.

Delegate tasks to staff members and ensure they are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.

Motivate and maintain a positive work environment to ensure that employees deliver high-quality service.

Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Assist in managing schedules, ensuring there is adequate staffing during peak hours and special events.
2. Customer Service and Satisfaction

Greet and interact with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their dining experience.

Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a positive outcome for the guest.

Ensure that the restaurant provides exceptional customer service, handling all customer interactions with professionalism and courtesy.

Maintain an atmosphere that promotes customer satisfaction, from greeting guests to handling their requests and payment.
3. Operational Efficiency

Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service from opening to closing.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards and food safety procedures.

Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and high standards.

Ensure that all supplies and equipment are stocked, functional, and well-maintained.

Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed to avoid stock shortages.

Manage cash handling procedures, including taking payments and making sure that all transactions are accurate.
4. Staff Training and Development

Conduct training sessions for new employees and provide ongoing training for current staff to improve their skills.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, specials, and any changes in policies or procedures.

Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Promote teamwork among staff to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
5. Administrative Duties

Prepare and maintain reports related to sales, staff performance, inventory, and customer feedback.

Assist with the preparation of operational budgets and ensure that costs are kept within budgetary guidelines.

Perform opening and closing duties, including cash register reconciliation and daily reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

Assist in marketing efforts and customer retention strategies, such as promotions or loyalty programs.
6. Cleanliness and Organization

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, bathrooms, and storage rooms.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas meet cleanliness standards.

Ensure that all restaurant equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and operational.
