Job Description
- We are looking for B.Sc (Agriculture / Horticulture) students for the position of “Retail Store Manager”.
- The salary for the selected students would be Rs. 2.5 L /- P.A.
- In addition, they’ll be eligible for variable pay (Incentives) aligned with the sales incentive structure (linked to product sales).
- To achieve the budgeted Turnover & Profitability for the Retail outlet through:
- Sales maximizations
- Volume forecasting and follow up for the procurement for supply
- Farmer’s level Promotion activities
- In-store customer handling
- Inventory management & stock replenishment
- Cost reduction
- Effective utilization of resources in the store like power etc
- Optimum expenditure on daily maintenance work
- To develop large number of loyal customers for MGC through:
- Repeat Purchase promotion
- Increasing membership base
- Increasing Value for money from the center
- Setting up visual merchandising as per the guidelines
- Develop and motivate field promotion team and other staff
- Business development in the taluk where the store is located to increase customer footfall
- Fluency in Kannada is mandatory for the position and should be willing work anywhere in Karnataka.
