Job Description

We are looking for safety engineer, more than 3 years of experience

Job Summary:

The Safety engineer is responsible for ensuring workplace safety by implementing and enforcing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves training employees, inspecting work environments, and investigating incidents to prevent workplace hazards and accidents.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines and legal requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and investigations of workplace accidents.
Provide safety training and awareness programs to employees.
Maintain records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions.
Investigate workplace accidents and prepare reports with recommendations.
Ensure emergency response plans and safety equipment are in place and operational.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and conduct inspections to meet legal safety standards.
Promote a culture of safety awareness among employees.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree/diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) is preferred.
2+ years of experience in safety management or a similar role.
Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment procedures, and emergency response planning.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to conduct training sessions and safety audits.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in industrial, construction, or office environments depending on the industry.
May require field visits and site inspections.
Use of safety gear and equipment as necessary.
