Job Description 

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Sales and Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization to attract potential clients and retain existing ones. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities. You should be able to follow instructions, but also take initiative and come up with original ideas.

To be successful as a Sales and Marketing Specialist, you should have a growth mindset and a commitment to lifelong learning. Outstanding candidates should be highly observant, willing to assist wherever possible, and eager to readily engage with outside of their area of specialization.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that align with company goals.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer service.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse consumer behaviour and gather insights to inform marketing strategies.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image and positioning.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.

Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of digital marketing campaigns.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop engaging content for various platforms, including website, blog, social media, and print materials.
  • Manage content calendar and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.

Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing spend and return on investment (ROI).

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Plan and execute promotional events, trade shows, and product launches.
  • Manage event logistics and post-event analysis.

Partnerships and Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and media outlets.
  • Collaborate with influencers and industry leaders to enhance brand visibility.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Generate regular reports on marketing performance metrics.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine and improve marketing strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in sales and marketing analytics and reporting.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in Digital Marketing or Media Marketing.
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite/ Adobe Photoshop.
  • Previous experience in the sales and marketing field would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Superb time management and professionalism.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to accept criticism.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required.
  • Software usage and development would be an advantage
  • Willing to travel and Interact with external clients/ organizations/ to meet operational needs
