Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Specialist with a focus on Waterproofing Products for the civil engineering sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and product training, with excellent communication skills to engage clients and stakeholders in the construction and infrastructure industries. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities within the civil engineering and construction industries for waterproofing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients including contractors, developers, consultants, and project managers to drive sales.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, with incentives tied to performance.
  • Develop tailored proposals, presentations, and quotes for clients in the waterproofing sector.
  • Product Training & Technical Support:
  • Provide technical product training and demonstrations to clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring a clear understanding of waterproofing solutions and their applications.
  • Educate stakeholders on product benefits, installation processes, and best practices to promote successful project outcomes.
  • Stay current on new products, technologies, and industry trends to provide accurate, up-to-date information during training sessions.
  • Marketing & Branding:
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote waterproofing products to the civil engineering and construction sectors.
  • Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, product datasheets, presentations, and digital content.
  • Leverage social media, SEO, and other online platforms to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure proper product installation, address customer feedback, and offer ongoing technical support.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on product selection and application for waterproofing needs.
  • Travel & On-Site Engagement:
  • Travel to client sites, construction projects, and trade events as required to showcase products, provide on-site support, and gather market intelligence.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote waterproofing solutions and network with potential clients.
  • Sales Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track sales activities, monitor customer feedback, and generate regular reports on sales performance and market conditions.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, sales pipeline, and customer data effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications or training in waterproofing systems or construction materials is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development in the construction or civil engineering sector, preferably with waterproofing products or related solutions.
  • Proven success in driving sales and managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in conducting product training sessions or technical demonstrations is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Business development acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.
