Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement and Sales

Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their needs.

Provide detailed information on products, features, and pricing to assist in customer decision-making.

Suggest suitable products, upsell when appropriate, and encourage add-on sales to increase basket value.

Achieve daily and monthly individual and store-level sales targets.
2. Product Knowledge

Maintain a deep understanding of all product lines, including key features, specifications, and benefits.

Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and product availability.

Educate customers on product usage, warranties, and after-sale services.
3. Store Maintenance and Merchandising
-
Ensure products are displayed neatly and follow the store's visual merchandising guidelines.

Replenish stock on shelves and racks to maintain optimum inventory levels on the shop floor.

Keep the store clean, organized, and appealing to enhance the shopping experience.
-
Report stock shortages, damages, or display issues to the supervisor promptly.
4. Billing and Payment Handling
-
Operate POS systems to process sales transactions quickly and accurately.

Handle cash, card, and digital payments securely.

Issue receipts, handle returns or exchanges, and process refunds according to store policy.
5. Customer Service and Issue Resolution

Respond promptly to customer queries, complaints, or concerns with a helpful attitude.

Handle returns or product issues tactfully and escalate complex problems to the manager when required.

Build rapport with regular customers to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
6. Teamwork and Collaboration

Work cooperatively with team members to achieve overall store objectives.

Assist colleagues during peak hours or promotional events.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
7. Reporting and Feedback

Maintain daily sales reports and share feedback on customer preferences or issues with management.

Inform the manager about customer feedback, demand trends, or competitors’ strategies.
