Job Description
Job Title: Sales Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by selling products to new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new potential clients and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and long-term success.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, product demonstrations, and presentations to clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close deals effectively.
- Provide excellent post-sale support, ensuring customer satisfaction and handling any issues or queries.
- Keep detailed records of client interactions, sales progress, and feedback.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- Report regularly on sales activity, performance, and market insights.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in Modern trade and General trade.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Familiarity with Tally software and sales tools is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Positive attitude and self-motivated.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to handle rejection and keep a motivated attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential for communication with clients and internal teams.
Salary:
- Salary + Incentives based on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
