Job Description
A field sales representative for broadband services typically has the following responsibilities:
- Generate leads: Identify potential customers, conduct door-to-door visits, and make cold calls
- Meet sales targets: Set and achieve monthly or quarterly sales goals
- Promote services: Explain broadband packages, resolve customer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Build relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Analyze needs: Perform needs and cost-benefit analysis for clients
- Monitor competitors: Keep track of competitors' sales activities
- Provide reports: Supply management with reports on customer needs, potential new products, and competitive activities
- Coordinate sales: Coordinate sales efforts with other departments
- Liaise with building societies: Obtain permissions for cabling in building premises
- Conduct demos: Arrange and conduct live demos of the service in building premises
- Conduct road shows: Conduct road shows at places that would draw the maximum footfalls such as department stores or shopping malls
Field sales representatives typically need to be knowledgeable about products and have good communication skills.
