Job Description

Position: Sales Head
Experience: 10+ years in Core Products Sales
Job Location: Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore
Salary: ₹30,000 - ₹50,000 per month
Number of Vacancies: 1

Duties:

· Drive sales of technical products to achieve company targets.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.

· Prepare and present sales reports to management.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:

· 10+ years of experience in technical product sales.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong reporting and analytical skills.

· Proven track record of job stability.

Interview Details:

· Date: Every Monday to Saturday

· Time: 2 PM - 4 PM

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Sales Strategy Development

  • Develop Sales Strategy: The Sales Head is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.

  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands. Analyze the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and threats, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

  • Revenue Goals: Set clear sales targets and performance goals, ensuring that the sales team is well-equipped and motivated to meet or exceed these targets. Drive revenue growth by increasing sales productivity and market share.

2. Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead the Sales Team: Provide leadership and direction to the sales team by creating a positive and high-performance sales culture. Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional sales techniques, integrity, and dedication.

  • Recruitment and Training: Oversee the recruitment process to build a strong and competent sales team. Continuously train and mentor sales staff, improving their skills and ensuring they stay updated on new products, services, and market conditions.

  • Performance Management: Regularly evaluate individual and team performance against sales goals. Implement corrective actions, motivate underperforming team members, and reward top performers. Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Customer Engagement: Ensure that the sales team builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients and prospects. This includes high-level customer engagement, meeting with key decision-makers, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Sales Process Improvement: Continuously improve the sales process to ensure efficient, customer-focused interactions. Ensure that the sales team uses CRM systems effectively for lead tracking, managing customer relationships, and forecasting sales.

  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any significant customer concerns, issues, or complaints. Act as a point of escalation for major accounts or challenging sales situations.

4. Sales Operations and Execution

  • Oversee Sales Operations: Ensure the effective execution of the sales strategy and monitor key sales activities, such as lead generation, deal closure, account management, and pricing strategy.

  • Forecasting: Produce regular sales forecasts based on analysis of current sales trends, opportunities, and pipeline data. Use this information to adjust strategies, allocate resources, and plan future initiatives.

  • Sales Tools and Resources: Ensure the sales team is equipped with the right tools, resources, and technologies to perform effectively. This may include CRM software, sales enablement tools, and analytics platforms.

5. Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to create cohesive go-to-market strategies, align sales and marketing efforts, and ensure that campaigns effectively generate leads.

  • Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with other departments such as product management, customer service, and operations to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company objectives and operational capabilities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly report to executive management and key stakeholders on sales performance, market insights, and the overall effectiveness of sales strategies.

6. Budgeting and Resource Allocation

  • Budget Management: Manage the sales department’s budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources and the implementation of cost-effective strategies.

  • Resource Allocation: Allocate the right resources to various regions, product lines, or customer segments based on sales priorities and business needs.

7. Sales Reporting and Analytics

  • Monitor KPIs: Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and sales cycle length. Use these insights to refine strategies.

  • Regular Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance to senior management. These reports should highlight progress towards sales targets, challenges, and opportunities.
