Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and make them feel welcome.
- Understand the customer's preferences and budget by asking relevant questions.
- Assist customers in selecting clothes, providing style advice and recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
- Ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience by answering queries, offering suggestions, and providing assistance throughout their visit.
- Guide customers to appropriate sections of the store according to their needs (e.g., size, color, design).
Store Organization and Maintenance:
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Fold clothes neatly and arrange them on racks according to size, color, and design.
- Keep the store shelves, racks, and display areas well-organized and stocked.
- Maintain the store counter by keeping it clean, organized, and ready for checkout.
- Ensure that all merchandise is properly tagged and easy to access for customers.
- Regularly check the store for items that need replenishment or refolding.
Sales Support:
- Promote store offers, discounts, and new arrivals to customers to increase sales.
- Assist in managing inventory levels by notifying the store manager when items need to be restocked or reordered.
- Handle customer payments and process transactions at the store counter efficiently.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest product offerings, sales promotions, and store policies.
- Provide detailed information to customers about the quality, fabric, and care instructions of products.
- Understand the store's inventory and be able to locate specific items for customers quickly.
Visual Merchandising:
- Ensure that clothing and accessories are neatly folded and arranged in a visually appealing manner.
- Assist in creating attractive in-store displays to attract customers and enhance the shopping experience.
Store Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Keep the store neat, clean, and clutter-free by regularly tidying up shelves, racks, and floor spaces.
- Ensure that the store is visually appealing to customers by maintaining cleanliness throughout the day.
Collaboration with Store Manager:
- Support the Store Manager in implementing daily tasks, managing stock, and assisting with customer concerns or issues.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed at the beginning and end of the shift.
