Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Team Lead to manage and guide a team of sales executives in achieving insurance sales targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for team performance, training, motivation, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.
The Sales Team Lead will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through effective lead conversion, team development, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Supervision:

Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of sales executives to meet and exceed sales targets.

Assign sales targets, track individual performance, and ensure timely achievement of goals.

Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the company’s insurance products (e.g., life, health, motor, general).

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Guide the team in generating leads through cold calling, referrals, networking, and field visits.
3. Training & Development:

Train new team members on product knowledge, customer handling, compliance, and sales techniques.

Continuously mentor and develop the skills of the team to improve performance.

Conduct workshops, mock pitches, and on-field training sessions.
4. Customer Relationship Management:

Support the team in handling high-value or complex clients.

Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.

Foster long-term relationships with key clients to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
5. Reporting & Compliance:

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.

Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company compliance guidelines.

Monitor documentation and ensure accurate completion of all insurance forms and client records.
6. Business Development Support:

Assist in recruiting and onboarding new sales executives as the team expands.

Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities and campaigns.

Represent the company at networking events, client meetings, and seminars when required.
