Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Management

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives or executives to achieve their individual and group sales targets.

Motivate the team through performance feedback, sales incentives, and regular training sessions.

Conduct daily or weekly team briefings to review targets, share updates, and resolve challenges.

Maintain a high-performance team culture focused on accountability, achievement, and customer success.
2. Sales Strategy Execution

Implement the company’s sales strategy at the team level, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

Collaborate with the Sales Manager or Business Development Head to develop territory plans and lead allocation.

Identify new market opportunities and help the team refine their approach to meet diverse customer needs.
3. Performance Monitoring
-
Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance using CRM or reporting tools.

Ensure proper pipeline management by team members, helping them prioritize leads and close deals effectively.
-
Evaluate team productivity, call quality, follow-ups, and conversion ratios; identify and address gaps proactively.
4. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

Support the sales team in handling high-value clients or complex negotiations.

Step in to resolve escalated customer issues or objections as needed.

Foster long-term client relationships through post-sale engagement and follow-up.
5. Training & Development

Conduct regular product knowledge sessions and sales technique workshops.

Onboard new hires and support their transition into the sales environment.

Identify individual team member strengths and areas of improvement, offering one-on-one coaching when required.
6. Reporting & Coordination
-
Submit sales reports and forecasts to senior management on a regular basis.

Coordinate with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure a smooth sales process and consistent messaging.

Monitor competitor activity and market changes; share relevant intelligence with the sales and product teams.
