About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Salesperson to join our team at Greenways nursery. The Salesperson will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and driving sales of our diverse range of plant products.
Responsibilities:
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and offering guidance on plant selection.
- Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records. Manages financial transactions.
- Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure the nursery is well-stocked with healthy plants.
- Arrange and display plants in an attractive manner to enhance visual appeal.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts through events and special offers.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a plant nursery or garden center.
- Strong knowledge and passion for plants and gardening.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proven sales skills and ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
